I'm Claudio Reis, the founder of Drum Lessons Sydney in the Sutherland Shire. I've been in the music scene for almost three decades performing with corporate bands and live shows in most major music styles.
Whether performing on stage or teaching, my passion for music and freedom to pursue my individuality are the driving force behind my success as a friendly, patient, passionate and professional teacher and musician.

Over 25 Years of Teaching Experience
I started giving drum lessons more than 25 years ago, haven't stopped since, and plan to continue
for many more years. Teaching drums is not something I do "on the side."
I've taught students aged 3 to 70+, always balancing technical and practical work.

- Non Stop Party Band (disco, funk, pop), Skyscraper (heavy metal), Mr. Bug (hard rock covers), Duo Trio (unplugged pop),
Hypersonic (pop/rock covers), Brazilian Latin Groove, and many others covering the major music styles.
- Inumerous tribute bands including Dream Theater, Metallica, Skid Row, Bon Jovi, Alanis Morrisette and Elvis.
- Cover bands with huge set lists including Foo Fighters, AC/DC, RHCP, INXS, Green Day, Queen, Muse, Maroon 5, Blink-182, Van Halen, EWF, Jamiroquai, Beatles, Coldplay, Santana, MJ and so on.
At the age of 20 I was unanimously voted the best drummer in a 2-day music festival.
Four years later, my former pop band New Jersey was elected the best band in the English Culture Festival of Brazil.
In 2003 I was chosen to record the album T.V.lization
for the heavy metal band Skyscraper, mastering the complexity and challenging speed of their songs.
In 2022 I recorded the album For A Better World, and the singles
Watching the Sky and Sacred Earth with Twilight Aura.
